Case Reports
The following case reports are intended to suggest that tumor types as seemingly disparate as melanoma, breast, prostate, colon and soft tissue sarcoma can in some patients respond similarly to the same immunologically based treatment. This suggests that there is likely an immunologically based commonality that is not tumor specific.
These case reports suggest that carefully designed prospective clinical trials should be undertaken to answer the logical next questions: what is the impact on disease progression, quality of life, and overall survival, in these as well as other tumor types.
